In the tumultuous world of motorsports, the 2010 Pocono Race left fans with a lasting memory of dramatic events. With less than two laps to go, a collision involving Kevin Harvick’s #29 car sent Joey Logano spinning out, ultimately costing Harvick a 4th-place finish. The race’s conclusion saw a heated encounter as an enraged Logano confronted the crew to reach Harvick.

The post-race interviews only intensified the drama, with Logano taking a jab at Harvick‘s manhood and Harvick retaliating by making a remark about Logano’s father. However, time heals old wounds, and Harvick recently took a humorous approach while recalling the 13-year-old incident.

In a moment of frustration after being hit by Harvick during the Pocono race, Logano suggested that Harvick’s wife might be responsible for his actions. He quipped, “Not his fault, you know. His wife wears the firesuit in his family, tells him what to do.”

It looks like Harvick’s 5-year-old has now taken matters into her own hands with an adorable video on Twitter. But the 2007 Daytona 500 winner’s son Keelan is still won over as he reshared the tweet with the caption, “This is what I deal with every single day!”

In the clip, the young Piper Harvick bounced around the Stewart-Haas Racing garage while proudly announcing, “I am Piper Harvick, and I wear the Firesuit in the family.”

The 5-year-old could be seen taking the shots around the entire crew team for a game of run. Piper even asked her dad’s crew chief Rodney Childers to do push-ups. The entire garage crew followed her orders to the T. She got a first-hand look at the cars and tires in the SHR garage.

Who would have thought Joey Logano’s frustrated jab would turn into an amusing stunt 13 years later? Meanwhile, with his last race at Pocono this weekend, Kevin Harvick contemplated SHR’s future after him.

Almost through his final NASCAR season, Harvick remains optimistic about the potential for victory. Despite facing challenges with Stewart-Haas Racing experiencing a difficult season overall, Harvick’s dedication to maximizing his car’s performance each week has been commendable. In fact, he has outperformed all three of his SHR teammates combined, securing seven top-10 finishes along the way.

Despite the team’s struggles, Harvick has displayed unwavering resilience, consistently maintaining his position in the top-10 in regular season points. While his teammates are stuck in the lower rankings, Harvick’s determination has shone through, keeping him over 100 points above the playoff cutoff mark.

During a recent media day at NHSM, Harvick expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance from the competition side. Although they have come close to victory occasionally, the elusive win has evaded them thus far.
