Beyond being just drivers, NASCAR racers have a superstar stature in the community, with fans going bonkers over them, looking to catch them up personally as they dream of a fanboy moment. The NASCAR nation recently witnessed one such interaction with the 2-time Cup Series champion, Joey Logano, taking his spirited fans on a “hell ride,” as he calls it.

Though the Team Penske driver’s on-track stints and rivalries have made him a notorious reputation, the driver’s interaction and his time with the community have always been a delight for fans. Recently, the Ford driver got 2 of his fans alongside him, taking them for an epic ride as part of his charity foundation in his Factory Five truck.

For one, we can all agree that NASCAR drivers are different kinds of people who exemplify commitment and determination. Besides being fierce and super-competitive on the track, they are also great human beings (some at least) who are very grateful for the community and their invaluable support. Much like his arch-rival, Kyle Busch, Logano is also an astute charity funder.

His Joey Logano Foundation has earned a lot of respect in a short time, offering second chances to children and young adults during times of crisis and working to inspire others to do the same. Driven by social commitment, the driver’s charity work and fundraiser campaigns, along with his foundation, have deeply influenced the lives of many.

Recently, the driver took to his social media, highlighting his charity efforts involving a concert and a fascinating silent auction. The auction featured a unique drag spec Factory Five truck that the driver used to enthrall 2 fans – Brooklyn and Jaden. Readying the two, Logano asked, “We had a silent auction and one of the coolest items we auctioned off was a fun ride in the factory five drift truck of mine and Brooklyn and Jaden are here to go for what I call hell ride, a little bit of fun in there, a little sideways, are you guys ready for this or what?”

With the fans nodding and voicing their approval, the “hell ride” was on as the Ford truck did burnouts and donuts, occasionally going sideways as the fans joined the driver in the passenger seat.

Recent days saw another controversy in the making after NASCAR unveiled its 2024 schedule. While the Iowa Speedway makes it into the Cup Series schedule after a while, the addition of 2 superspeedways to the 36-race layout has earned criticism, especially from the senior drivers.

Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Denny Hamlin was among the first few drivers that revealed their takes. Soon, the 2022 Cup Series champion, Logano also shared his, unapologetically bashing the organization, saying, “I don’t know if I agree with putting two superspeedways in the playoffs.”

While Hamlin is of the opinion that this decision takes away drivers’ chances, testing their luck, not their skill, Logano, much like the veteran, doesn’t sit well with the idea of having two superspeedways in the playoff rounds, as he straight-up acknowledged it in the interview.
