Not only that, Hendrick Motorsports vice chairman, Jeff Gordon also took shots at the Penske star, “Joey did,” this was his response when William Byron asked if “people made dumb moves.” But, ever since last year’s championship triumph, Logano has grown a thick skin and he remained unbothered about the backlash he faced from the garage. “From my vantage point I felt like I had to get to the second car in line to have a chance to win the thing had an opportunity to get down in front of the Ford and the 47 had kind of a lead block there and at this point, I was kinda indecisive, I was trying to back out but I was getting shoved into it as the check-up had already happened and racing there in the end.” Logano’s take on the entire incident.
