Shakespeare rightly said that the “World is a stage” and every human plays their part before the curtain falls. While the lines do have a metaphorical meaning, the concern is not deciphering the meanings of the lines, but rather understanding its connection to the world of NASCAR.

The time as a professional NASCAR driver is surely limited. However, the road is undoubtedly a long one before the driver takes the final bow. But that has never been the reason to be distressed about for drivers like Kevin Harvick. He made sure that the time he spent on the tracks of NASCAR will be written in gold for ages to come.

Kevin Harvick is preparing himself to bid adieu to his 23 glorious years as a racer, at the end of this season. But that doesn’t stop him from visiting his track as a NASCAR analyst.

Joey Logano expresses his thoughts on Kevin Harvick’s future plans

The 2014 Cup Series champion had announced his retirement from racing back in January, It’s time to call time. To enjoy all that we’ve achieved as a race team and to savor it with the ones who have made this journey possible.” With that said, the Stewart-Haas driver is ready to take another leap as a NASCAR analyst for FOX for the 2024 season.

Speaking about which, Harvick’s fellow driver, Joey Logano, in his pre-race interview at Charlotte, had opined, I think Kevin will do fine. The one thing that all of us sitting in this room and everyone in this industry are very blessed to have is Kevin Harvick and the fact that Kevin Harvick isn’t going away. Kevin cares about this sport. He cares about the people in this sport. Hearing him talk about the guys in the garage a lot.”

He continued, “He talks about the guys in the garage as much as the drivers or the fans. He cares about the sport is what I’m trying to say and that is shown in so many ways that you guys don’t see. I get to see, but also in ways that the world is gonna see in the Fox booth next year, and I think that’s something that we all should be pretty grateful for because, obviously, he has a great fan following.”

The Team Penske driver also added, “But he also has a very loud voice within the industry that is very well respected, and the fact that he’s not just taking and leaving, meaning he had a great career and he left and he says, ‘Thanks. I’m out.”

“He has decided to stay involved and continue to build the sport for the next generation. That says a lot about a person to me. If it wasn’t for people like that, I wouldn’t be sitting here today talking to you and you wouldn’t be sitting here watching the sport either or writing about the sport. This, to me, is a true Hall of Fame move that’s probably even bigger than a few race wins that he’s had. The fact that he cares enough to continue means a lot to me.”

Kevin Harvick has already tasted what it is like to be inside the booths as an analyst when he appeared as a guest analyst for FOX back in 2015. But transitioning into it full-time is something to look forward to. He is set to join the likes of Clint Bowyer and Mike Joy for the Cup Series scheduled next year.

The No.4 Ford driver had stated to Associated Press, “This has really been a conversation that’s been happening for several years. The timing just was never really right. Now it’s all worked out, and it’s a great time to be able to transition and have a voice in the sport. And remain a part of NASCAR racing on a weekly basis and talk about the things I love.”
