“Full Speed” will consist of five episodes lasting 45 minutes each. In the 45 minutes of each episode, Netflix and the production studios have aimed to give the fans as much insight as possible into the unknown side of the sport. Exclusive access to drivers’ lives and behind-the-scenes of NASCAR teams’ operations are at the fore of the docuseries.

Joe Gibbs Racing content manager Macy Dowell guides the fans through some attractions of the series frames, from crew meetings to the team’s drivers’ lives off the track, garage procedures, press conferences, and much more. Netflix has also masterfully added its cinematic expertise to the series, producing some breathtaking scenarios on the racetrack that will incite adrenaline among the fans.

Macy Dowell also stated that “NASCAR: Full Speed” goes deeper into a driver’s life than any other NASCAR documentary has done previously. With Dale Earnhardt Jr is in the production team as an executive producer, his input has helped the studios perfect the portrayal of the NASCAR playoffs.

Speaking to “People” about how playoffs describe the intensity of a motorsport profession, Dale Earnhardt Jr said, “The intensity of the elimination format in the NASCAR Playoffs is unlike anything else in motorsports.”

If the reviews are anything to go by, “Full Speed” sounds like a never-seen-before experience for NASCAR fans. As the build-up to its release continues, the rave reviews keep coming in.

NASCAR has often been classified as a niche sport limited to the North American population. The vision has yet to be realized despite NASCAR’s continuous attempts to globalize its presence. The “Full Speed” series is a big step in that direction. Speaking to Netflix’s Tudum, Ross Chastain stated, “We’re bada**es. This sport has a whole garage full of the best mechanics, the best engineers, the best everything. This is it.”

NASCAR Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer Tim Clark asserted the sport’s stature as he claimed, This is the most competitive form of motorsport on the planet.”

“People are going to see it up close, and see the beating and the banging and the aggressiveness of the drivers, but also the skill of the drivers — and what they’re able to do with a race car [driving at] 200 miles an hour, around 38 other race cars, hitting the same spot for 400 miles.”
