So, the first round of Playoffs is finally over, and they eliminated 4 drivers who failed to qualify for the round of 12. Surprisingly, all four drivers that were eliminated have a connection to RCR.
The RCR curse could be real, and the 2022 playoffs just confirmed it.

A very interesting thing is out of the four drivers that got eliminated, two of them are RCR drivers (Tyler Reddick, Austin Dillon). While Kevin Harvick was a driver for the team. On the other hand, the Two-time Cup Series Champion, Kyle Busch, is the most popular driver move since Dale Earnhardt Jr. is also shifting to RCR next season.

As soon as RCR announced Busch will take Reddick’s spot, everyone has been wondering how Reddick would feel and react. Luckily, we have our answer now.

Reddick spoke about the move during Friday qualifying at Bristol Motor Speedway. He said, “None of it surprised me honestly,”, “I’m going to be moving on in 2024 to a new group of people and new team. It’s a unique challenge to be able to kind of go through that next year with a new group of people.”
Moreover, he thinks this will help him. “If anything, I think it’ll help me when I move on to the next place (23XI Racing), kind of getting used to moving with different people and going through that process.”
