While the birth of Jett Bayne is a cause for celebration, Trevor Bayne is not just basking in the joys of fatherhood. He’s also gearing up to make his return to the racing scene count. The former Daytona 500 winner, now 32, made headlines with his comeback for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Bayne will compete in three Xfinity races in JGR’s No. 19 Toyota.
His journey with JGR began last year, when he made nine Xfinity starts. Showcasing impressive performances that included five top-five and seven top-10 finishes. Along with a couple of runner-up efforts in Nashville and New Hampshire. Under the guidance of crew chief Jason Ratcliff. Bayne is eager to pick up where he left off and aim for a triumphant return to Victory Lane.

Trevor Bayne spoke about his comeback with his former team boss Joe Gibbs for the 2023 season. “I’m excited to get back in the seat. Especially with Jason (Ratcliff, crew chief) at the helm,” said Bayne according to Motorsport.com. “We had some strong runs together last year and came close to taking home a trophy a couple of times.”
“It doesn’t hurt that Daytona and Texas have been really good to me in the past, either. Hopefully, we can go out there, pick back up where we left off last year. And compete for a trip to Victory Lane,” he concluded.
