Jimmie Johnson loves his helmets. Every NASCAR fan is aware of this. The seven-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson has revealed yet another helmet. Although this time he has crash-tested this helmet with someone special. He revealed the new helmet on twitter where his daughter is seen wearing the helmet and spinning.

Jimmie Johnson will use this new helmet for the 2020 Alsco Uniforms 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on 27th May. Johnson used a different helmet for the 2020 Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He used a camouflage theme helmet for that race to commemorate the memorial day. That helmet was also revealed by his daughter.

2020 season for Jimmie Johnson

The 2020 season began with the Daytona 500 qualifying, he completed fourth for a second year straight. Soon thereafter, he entered the 2020 Busch Clash. He was the defending champion. He began sixteenth and completed eleventh.
The next race was the 2020 Bluegreen Vacations Duels. He began and completed second behind teammate William Byron in Duel 2. In his last Daytona 500, he began sixth and completed 35th after Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski set off “The Big One”.
In Las Vegas, he began eighteenth and completed fifth in the race. At his home race Auto Club, he qualified second, losing the pole position to Clint Bowyer by 0.007 seconds. For a large portion of the race, he was in the Top 10. He even led 10 laps. He completed seventh. At Phoenix, he began 21st and completed twelfth in the race.

At Darlington, the principal race back after the postponements constrained by the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson was driving in the last lap of the 1st stage when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed after contact with Chris Buescher who was a lap down at that point. It was his 100th race in succession without success.
On Wednesday, May 20, Johnson got his form back with an eighth spot finish in the Toyota 500 race. In Coca-Cola 600, he qualified second, losing the pole position to Kurt Busch by 0.009 seconds. Jimmie Johnson completed second in the 600, yet was precluded after his vehicle failed the post-race investigation.
