Over the years, whenever a tragedy has struck a driver, a team member, or anyone inside the sport, they’ve received enormous and unconditional support from everyone inside the sport.
The most recent example of this is Ty Gibbs, and the reaction he has got, and is continuously getting for the tragic loss of his father Coy, who passed away under extremely cruel circumstances.

Recently, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver shared a heart-melting tribute to his late father, a very particular moment of jubilation between the father and son along with a caption that only incites one word – beautiful.
“I love you Dad. God blessed me with you in my life. I am thankful for every second I got to spend with you. Thank you for always loving me and having my back through every situation,” Gibbs wrote. “I am so excited to see you again! John 3:16”

Jimmie Johnson, Daniel Suarez, former NBA player wrap arm around Ty Gibbs
Below Ty Gibbs’ tribute to his father were testaments to the strength which lies not just within NASCAR, but the strength that stretches far and beyond professions, the strength of empathy and compassion.
Daniel Suarez, the Trackhouse Racing driver, wrote for Gibbs, “Proud of you little amigo. 🙏🏼”, while seven-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson simply replied with a heart.

Truck Series driver Zane Smith also mirrored Johnson’s reaction as he too, simply left a heart emoticon.
Jeffrey Earnhardt also supported the young driver as he wrote, “🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼” while former NBA player Stephen Jackson replied, “Much love lil bro. U making him proud.”
