Voodoo and black magic are two very interesting subjects. Because either people think it’s completely bogus or they firmly believe in it, and some even practice it religiously. Now, everyone has their own beliefs and religions, but it seems like Jeff Gordon might have casted some black magic on Kyle Larson ahead of the 2021 Championship.

Apparently, a voodoo place brought him a lot of luck.

In a 2019 interview on NASCAR’s Glass Case show, Larson talked about his unfortunate luck throughout the 2019 season and before. In fact, he even revealed his son lost faith in him because of their inconsistent races and win.

Surprisingly, what the 2021 Champion revealed later changed everything. He said, “Ever since Jeff Gordon took me to that Voodoo place, I’m having some good luck”

But that brings a lot of questions about something he talked so little about. What kind of Voodoo place? Does Jeff Gordon believe in Voodoo?

All questions that we might never have answers to, but it raises a lot of suspicions. Could this be why Larson won in 2021?

“We had a lady in line visiting from Louisiana,” recalled Earnhardt’s PR rep and longtime associate J.R. Rhodes in the documentary Unrivaled: Earnhardt vs. Gordon. “She gave us a voodoo doll of Jeff Gordon. At the end of the autograph session, Earnhardt said, ‘You bring that to the race track.’ Richard and I and Dale and whoever was in the lounge got the pins and started putting pins in Jeff’s right foot, his gas foot. We didn’t want anything bad to happen to Jeff. We just didn’t want him to hit the gas too hard.”
