The race at Phoenix Raceway cast a dark shadow over the entirety of Hendrick Motorsports. After being hit by massive penalties for L-2 violations, uncertainty about the team’s appeal against the decision still looms around the corner. Earlier, NASCAR had implemented a massive $400,000 fine over the team, along with several other penalties.

This raised eyebrows among the fan bases across social media. Many of them asked for a fair trial by accepting a date for an appeal and argued that delaying such was only painting NASCAR in a bad light.
