A fan-favorite member of the broadcasting booth, Tony Stewart will make a return at the Clash. It is great to hear him come back because the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champ was pretty much loved by every single fan the weekend he was there. Clint Bowyer will join him and there is one reason that makes them just the perfect duo at the booth. The Stewart Haas Racing owner joked about working with Bowyer and revealed why he returned to the booth.

In conversation with a group, he said, “It’s called community service. I still have hours left to complete. So here I am again. So, fill my obligations.”
Tony Stewart is quite excited though, “But, yeah, I’m excited. We got a lot on our plate this year, which we’ll announce some of that in the next couple of weeks. But it is fun to come back and work with this crew.”

Of course, he went back to last year as he said, “To get asked to come back this year and come with this crew got in the car this morning, and I’m like, ‘Man, I have really been looking forward to doing this’. So this is a great family to work with. It’s a bunch of professionals that have been around this for a long time and know the ins and outs of the sport. And it’s a lot of fun to be a part of this team.”
It really seems like Stewart was made for this role.

Now back to why Clint Bowyer and Tony Stewart work so well together. Well, Mike Joy did the explaining part the best as he said, “I don’t know how Clint knows how to push his buttons.”
Joy further added, “But, man, we get into a discussion about something. And these two, they just let us stand back and say, when do we go to commercial? And these guys just rip it.”
