Lately, the NASCAR world has seen the rising popularity of podcasts. Fans seem to like the idea of podcasts as it generally gives the community an insight into the racing world and they very much enjoy the honest and humble approach of drivers.
And arguably starting off the trend was the 2-time Daytona winner Dale Earnhardt Jr. Dale Jr who is known for his sweet charm has been putting in the hours in his studio with his longtime friend and co-host of the show Mike Davis.
This time Dale Jr tried some cigarettes, or rather candy cigarettes. During his prime racing days, Dale Jr was known for his love for candies and old habits die hard as the Candyman was heard ranting about bubble gums and more!

Fans seriously took a liking to the candid conversations. With them sending in candies and other goodies, Dale and his friend are loving it! Soon after the driver revealed his love for candies and the nostalgic chalk-like candies, viewers have been sending out these sweets as a gesture of love.
Dale Earnhardt Jr goes on a funny rant about bubble gums
Much like his sweet personality, Junior expressed his love for these nostalgic candies in a previous episode, and ever since then, the studio has been bombarded with candies and other sweets.
In the recent episode of the Dale Jr. Download podcast, the duo started off the episode with a funny rant about April Fools.
Soon after that, Dale Jr started his rant about the sweets. He received boxes of these from fans who adore his honest and charming personality.
Junior said, “We got a bunch of stuff here on the table so uh first of uh ever since we started talking about, uh candy cigarettes and other crazy nostalgia, uh this these things been showing up everywhere.”
While his co-host responded, “So our our loyal listeners have started sending in candy cigs.”
Overwhelmed by the sweet response of his viewers, Dale Jr quickly opened up a box and took out some of his favorite candies. During this, he also stated his least favorite, “these are bubble gums, not really my favorite.”
Mike seemed a bit skeptical about it, while Dale Jr encourages him to try some of this “sugary chalk”. “It’s a stick of chalk, eat it,” Junior urged his friend while going about with his hilarious rant.
“I told you I like them because they taste good, not because they really look like a cigarette.” Dale even pokes fun at his friend by saying, “You like it cos it makes you look cool.”
Adding to the already funny conversation, Dale also revealed his family time briefly at the beginning.

Mike Davis seems to be laughing his heart out after hearing about the wholesome family outing where the family sat down together to watch NASCAR, go on an Easter egg hunt, and enjoy hay rides.
Dale Jr shared his pleasure of having a cheeseburger, smoking some meat on the grill and having his buddy try on a bunny costume! While his wife Amy Earnhardt ordered the costume, his best friend (Shawn) put it on.
