Is Kyle Busch's relentless NASCAR schedule worth the strain it puts on his family life?

After the crash that injured Kyle Busch‘s hand, he deserved a vacation. The two-time Cup series champion had an incident at the Brickyard 400 where, during the final laps of the race, he crashed into the outside wall. Although he did not break his hand, the severe sprain left him unable to drive at his best. Luckily, the Olympics break came in to save the day, as the Busch family took this time to relax and Kyle to heal.

Heading to the beautiful country of Italy, the family shared updates on Kyle Busch’s wife, Samantha’s, Instagram profile. From the posts on her profile, we see that the couple and their children, Brexton and Lennix, made a trip to beautiful venues like the Colosseum and also managed to make a trip to her father’s birthplace. But now that the break is over, they have all returned to the USA. While it can be hectic to travel with the whole family, Samantha gave her fans a glimpse of the most tiresome part of her trip.

Kyle Busch needed the rest, as he mentioned in a recent interview. The impact of the steering wheel going haywire during the accident gave a jerk to his hand, which left him with the injury. The much-needed break has hopefully healed his hand completely as we are preparing for the race at the Richmond Raceway.

While Kyle Busch prepares for the race weekend, his wife has her work cut out for herself. The vacation for 4 ended up with a lot of laundry, which Samantha shared in a reel on Instagram. Surrounded by what looks like 2 weeks of clothing for 4, she put up a post saying, “Laundry, grocery shopping, and adulting—no thanks; take me back to the limoncello spritz’s for lunch and pasta for every meal.”

She added some text to the reel that read, “When someone asks how you’re doing after you just got back from vacation.” In the reel, Mrs. Busch is holding her head, looking tense, because she knows that sorting out the mess will not be easy. With all her bags open and clothes all over the floor, many fans could sympathize with her situation.

To further highlight the workload, she shared the reel on her Instagram story, where she said, “What I’ve been doing since we got back, I’m OC. I have to unpack, wash, and organize everything immediately; it drives me crazy to let it sit.”

Although Samantha has a lot of work to do during the weekend, her husband needs to get himself ready for the big race. As of now, Kyle Busch is not in the playoffs and will need to do everything in his power if he wants a chance at becoming a three-time Cup Series champion.

The simple answer will be a win at Richmond; however, from a P12 start, it looks difficult. Kyle Busch has suffered all through the season as RCR has not stepped up their game. A rocky start to the season led to it being a bad year for Busch; however, the same cannot be said about his teammate.

Although Busch had a decent qualifier, with him being the 12th fastest on the grid, it still is nowhere close to the front. Having Austin Dillion ahead of him has put him in a position where winning at Richmond is crucial. If there is a new winner in the upcoming races before him, it will be impossible for him to make his way into the playoffs.
