In light of the triumph, 23XI Racing spotter Freddie Kraft talked about the Richard Childress Racing driver. The 26-year-old has been in incredible form this year and his efforts were finally rewarded at Road America.

Kraft said, “Is there anybody in the sport that wouldn’t want Tyler Reddick? I mean Gibbs is probably out of chairs over there. But is there anybody wouldn’t kick the tyres on Tyler Reddick and get him on their car? You can’t establish where that is, because there are a lot of options. If you told me Daniel Suarez was making a brilliant move to Trackhouse, I’d have told you he’s taking a big risk.”

Now, the real test will begin for the #8 Richard Childress Racing driver. He knows that his Playoff berth could still be under threat, with several races remaining in the regular season. The next race on the calendar is at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Quaker State 400. Last time at Atlanta, it was Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron who triumphed. So, he could be the favorite to win once again, but the fight will be a lot tougher this weekend. Additionally, the last winner of the Quaker State 400 was Kurt Busch, back when he raced for Chip Ganassi Racing. Last year, Tyler Reddick finished in a fine sixth place but slumped to a disappointing 28th place in the last visit to Atlanta. So, the Richard Childress Racing driver will definitely be out for redemption, and his Road America win will boost his confidence.
