Who said that an individual can have only one passion? Because when it comes to talent, it is always possible that a person can be blessed with more than one. NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace is one such example. Because apart from his passion for race cars, the 23XI driver has a special knack for music. And not the kind that NASCAR drivers are famous for.

In the third episode of the Netflix docuseries ‘Race: Bubba Wallace,’ filmmakers unearthed a whole new side of the African-American driver’s life. In an episode, Wallace sings and plays drums to the song ‘Sugar, We’re Going Down.’ Ecstatic about unwinding with music, Wallace compared the feeling with his race and said, “When you’re in front of a crowd, you’re the tempo. When you mess up, everyone notices. In driving, we’re going so fast people can’t see it… That’s why we get 400 laps because we can mess up 399 of them.”
Furthermore, the 23XI driver revealed that music has helped him to manage his performance and expectations on track. He revealed that he is a hardcore metal fan, as he can relate to those types of songs the most. He said; “You can pinpoint certain things that happen in your life that a song takes you back to or helps you get through some dark moments.”
However, Wallace also made some observations about country music. And yes, this is the kind of music that Taylor Swift was famous for. However, the 11-time Grammy award winner soon transitioned to pop music with her album Fearless.’ And like Wallace, her transition is something that made her an outlier in the Country Music community.

Wallace shared that his love for metalcore singles him out in the garage. He revealed; “I would say the majority of music taste among drivers is country music, which is fine. I like Country which sounds like Tyler Childers, but I don’t really see him as a country artist. For me, country is like the Pop-Country or the Bro-Country stuff. Sitting there with a beer in hand. I’m not really for that.”
When Bubba Wallace requested a Country Music star for guitar lessons publicly

Although Shelton did joke that his guitar was not worth the money received in the auction, he was more than happy to be able to accumulate funds for the charity. The North Carolina-based non-profit children’s charity arranges and provides funds for children in need of money across America.
