Daly told Earnhardt Jr, “I’ve been wanting to do a podcast for a while. I was like, ‘I like talking about motor racing, surprise!’ I’m a really big fan of all of our areas in sport. Right now, I’ve tried to do some NASCAR racing, raced in the Truck Series, Xfinity Series. I’ve done midget racing, I’ve tried to diversify my portfolio. Sports cars, all that stuff. I appreciate all of it, and I like the differences in every area of the sport.”

What else did Conor Daly and his partner say about their podcast?

Mulinaro confessed that the toughest part of the whole process was actually picking out a name. According to him, it was all very fine and dandy to sit down and talk about racing. However, they took three months to finalize the name and picked Speed Street. Additionally, the rapport between Mulinaro and Daly was also pretty important to get the project off the ground.

Since both of them were passionate about IndyCar and hailed from Indiana, it made sense for them. As for their content, Conor Daly plans to go in-depth into the IndyCar world. He also confessed that he has a tendency to be pretty honest, which sometimes does not go over well with his team.

As it happened, Daly wanted to portray IndyCar in a way that reads between the lines of usual driver responses. In other words, he truly wants to go in-depth, whether it is about strategy, driver feuds, or anything else. He also admitted that he would like to discuss what IndyCar drivers think of sports events happening outside their arena.

Of course, he would also like to involve the fans and answer questions, as well as discuss the more obscure side of IndyCar.
