As Stewart has received glory in NASCAR, the majority of fans did not seem surprised to see him on the list. With 2 Cup Series championships as a driver and one as an owner, ‘smoke’ seems to have done it all!
Appreciating the very same fact, the fans said…
“Thanks Tony”
“As he should. Tony Stewart is the only driver to win multiple championships during Jimmie Johnson’s prime, and that was in a field of champions including Busch, Harvick, Truex, etc.
Tony is one of the greatest to ever do it, and one of just 9 drivers ever to win 3 titles, one of just 6 to win 3 in the modern era.
Give this man his flowers. He’s what media wants Larson to be.”
