Following the chaotic race at Charlotte Roval that saw multiple playoff contenders either getting knocked out or having a bad finish, NASCAR spotter Freddie Kraft was left agitated as he complained of a billboard causing a distraction on the track. He believed the incident ruined the entire playoff field.

Kraft stated, “When that sign was on the race track there was two different guys advancing. That ended up advancing. When that sign fell off on the race track I think Larson was in and I think Cindric was in…”
Brett Griffin continued, “A billboard that should have never been there changed the entire playoff. That is where people need to be upset, they don’t need to be upset when the caution was thrown for this thing.”
“They need to be upset that it was out there, to begin with. And not only that it was out there then it was out there, much all weekend…”
I’m sorry it ain’t funny to me and it needs to be f***** fixed. I’m serious I’m, mad about it.”

The Restart Saw Massive Chaos as Playoff Chances for the Top Contenders Diminish
What should have been the final restart ended up in mayhem after several drivers lost control. They spun out which led to the race going overtime.

The race at Charlotte Roval was an elimination race, which would decide the lineup for the round of 8. Unfortunately, as several cars, such as Chase Elliott, Noah Gragson, and a few more either spun or crashed out during the final restart, the race was brought under caution yet again.

Following the race, it was realized that Kyle Larson’s stroke of bad luck had left him out of the playoff altogether.
