Recently, Kyle Larson registered a $12,000 win at the Golden Isles Speedway. After not being able to secure a lead for the majority of the race, Larson finally overtook the race leader Ricky Thornton Jr during the last 3 laps. However, what happened next would definitely go down as one of the most embarrassing moments in Larson’s career.

After clinching a win at the GIS Dirt, Larson attempted to celebrate his victory by performing donuts. However, as soon as the Hendrick Motorsports driver tried to spin at turn 4, his vehicle rammed into the concrete wall. Hence, botching his own victory celebrations.

And this incident sent everyone, including the motorsports fans into peals of laughter. Although most Twitter users were relieved about the fact that Larson’s vehicle had already gone through inspection, a few others were happy that the 2021 Cup Series champ did not wreck his car during the race.

Oops. That was embarrassing. And Kyle Larson too felt that his unsuccessful donut maneuver was one of the most embarrassing moments of his career. While talking to Dirt on Dirt staff reporters, Larson admitted that “this takes the cake.”

After putting in a great performance at Friday’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series race, Larson wasn’t expecting to feel embarrassed. However, who knew that after winning the Super Bowl of Racing, the Hendrick Motorsports driver would feel like celebrating in style?

While talking about the epic celebration fail, Larson told Dirt on Dirt staff reporters,

“I’m an idiot. I was way too excited, obviously. So, I feel really bad that I tore up a perfectly good race car. That was very embarrassing. I don’t know what to say, but sorry.”
