The hosts, ‘Spider’ and ‘Large,’ wasted no time diving into the hot topic of criticism. “There seems to be a lot of unfair criticism directed at you,” Spider ventured cautiously. “How do you handle all that negativity, especially when it comes from respected figures in the racing world?”

The Truck Series driver, not one to shy away from confrontation, answered confidently, “My favourite thing to do is block people that say negative things about me like. I love it. Everything. I love it if you went to my blocklist on Instagram, probably thousands of people, because I just enjoy it. I’m like, haha, You wanna say something bad? Like, OK, you can never see my stuff. So I guess I take it with a grain of salt.” Deegan grinned mischievously.

Deegan’s response to the criticism comes with the wisdom of a seasoned racer, acknowledging the value of opinions from veterans who have earned her respect. Yet, she doesn’t mince her words when dismissing the haters who lack firsthand racing experience, comparing their understanding of driving to cruising at 65 mph on a freeway. It was a bold move, but Hailie Deegan thrives on it. For her, blocking the haters is more than just hitting a button; it’s a symbolic declaration that she refuses to let negativity hold her back.

This is not the first time Hailie Deegan has clapped back at the haters.
