Travis Pastrana crashed his truck in his return race in the NASCAR Truck Series at Kansas. His crash brought out the caution. However, he was able to pull through and finished the race in the 22nd place.

Before the race, Travis talked to the media about his return. Additionally, he talked about his plan for the race. During the interview, he was asked about how he will rank this race in the list of crazy adventures he has experienced throughout the course of his career.

Ross replied, “Really, really high up there. I was actually pretty nervous. Ross Chastain proved that this truck can drive awesome, e was on pace. Fastest truck out there for yesterday.

“But as he didn’t do the tire change, he was dropping back. And I was like, man, if you put me on the pole I’ll literally punch you in the face.”

He added, “I’m definitely excited to be back here and have an opportunity to run. I was just happy they got me fitted in the truck. Ross and most of the guys are pretty small so I got a tight fit.”

FOX NASCAR posts a clip of his crash on Twitter. They wrote, “Travis trouble. Pastrana goes around to bring out the caution in Kansas.”

Kligerman, Ross and everyone laughed at me: Travis Pastrana

After that, Travis talked about his plan for the race and how his teammates reacted to his goal of a ‘Top-15’ finish without any practice.

He said, “The other day, I came in and I was thinking like man, if I could get a top 15 finish it will be great. And Kligerman, Ross and everyone just pretty much laughed at me like dude if you can not crash that truck, stay on the track and get a ‘Top-25’ finish it will be a good day.”

Finally, he stated that he’s very excited and will give this challenge his best. He said, “So, I’m gonna have a smile on my face underneath this mask and I’ll give it all I got.”
