Racing has never been an individual sport. NASCAR, especially, has always been a collective effort from the whole team, with pit crews, strategists, and the driver executing it on the track. While hardcore fans seem to understand this very fact, newbies and casuals don’t and instead, go on to become critics of the sport.

Moreover, this puts immense pressure on drivers to meet the community’s expectations. But things don’t always go the right way and sometimes these fans can be a little too harsh.

And Denny Hamlin, the #11 driver, is fed up with these ‘keyboard warriors’!

Lately, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver is attracting a lot of support from the community for his honest and humble ways.

In his recent social media activity, Denny posted a short clip captioned, “If you can’t make fun of yourself, you have no sense of humor.” This video is the new talk of the town!

Denny Hamlin talks about “the most detrimental” incidents of his long career

Interestingly, Denny, being the humble and down-to-the-earth person he is, actually had an intriguing topic to talk about.

In fact, we see the driver discussing the “most detrimental thing that happened” in his illustrious career. From wrecking Chase Elliott in 2017, “DH vs Logano” to his notorious feud with the ‘Watermelon man’ Ross Chastain.

In the short clip, we see Denny list some infamous incidents (8 to be precise) and pick the top event from the bracket!

Denny also addresses his long-standing criticism/praise “the best driver to never win a fu**ing championship.” In the 10-minute video posted on Action Detrimental’s YouTube channel, we see the driver venting out his frustration.

“Gosh, if I hear that one more time, um I’m doing the best I can, what can I say? Sometimes you just have bad luck,” said Denny.

He also points to the naysayers about how he’d like to have his vengeance by winning a championship and “that would really make me happy.”

Finally, we see the driver picking his poor Homestead Ford 400 run back in 2010 as the “most detrimental.”
