2024 was in no way Rowdy’s year. With no wins and a 19-year-old streak broken, Kyle Busch has had a year to forget on the racing front. However, when it comes to the Busch family, Rowdy and Co. are thriving, whether it’s his son’s budding racing career or Samantha Busch’s social media growth.
Busch is enjoying the NASCAR off-season with his wife Samantha Busch and two kids. He celebrated Christmas with his kids, wife and Parents in North Carolina. In a video shared by Busch’s son Brexton’s family was seen having fun moments. Brexton also revealed his Christmas gift while ignoring his mother’s valuable advice.

Kyle Busch’s nine-year-old son is already making waves in the age group racing world. With over 60 wins in different tournaments, Brexton is riding on his family’s legacy. He is currently practicing for the upcoming 39th Tulsa Shootout. However, ahead of the key racing tournament, Brexton received a surprise Christmas gift from his parents.
In a video he shared on social media platforms, Brexton revealed that he had gotten a new boat. The motorboat has Brexton’s number 18 engraved on his boat. While checking out his gift Brexton got some advice from his mother which didn’t go well with the nine-year-old. As Samantha asked him to not eat fish from Lake Norman due to it being radioactive Brexton ignored her advice.
In a hilarious response, he said, “It’s not radioactive. Hey if I haven’t died in how many years, how many fish should you eat? How many have I touched?” Samantha further insisted and said, “Don’t eat fish.” Instead of accepting his mother’s advice Brexton firmly said that he would bring one fish home and eat it. “I will. We’re going to catch 1 and we’re going to bring up,” he can be heard in the video.

The mother-son banter didn’t end there as Samantha threatened him by saying he would glow after eating a radioactive fish. She said, “When you start glowing after eating it. Let me know.” However, Brexton didn’t bother and said, “Good. Then I’ll take the glow and put it on you.” This hilarious conversation went viral on social media as fans found it cute.
Perhaps it’s no surprise Samantha Busch doesn’t want young Brexton to stay away from fish. She recently discovered her love for red meat when the family visited Las Vegas at the end of the NASCAR season. Although Samantha had sworn off red meat early on in her life, she felt a new craving and realized its health benefits. It’s worth noting that in early 2018 The Waterkeeper Alliance’ reported that there was radioactivity in drinking water near Lake Norman. It reported that radioactivity was 2.5 times the federal standards. However, Duke Energy, the plant operating near the lake, and other local authorities busted this report by conducting a massive test.
