It has been more than 5 years since Dale Earnhardt Jr. left NASCAR. But that didn’t mean he had stopped loving racing or the sport. Since his retirement, Junior has remained involved in the sport in some or the other. Apart from his investments in racing, he regularly invests in other ventures as well.

One of his such investments came into question in a recent thread on Twitter. Dylon Wilson, a driver in the now-revived CARSTour Series, asked on the social media site: “I would like to do some streaming, but there isn’t any interesting games out. Any recommendations or y’all feel the same?”

Dale Jr replied to that tweet, “If I didn’t have two kids I’d be streaming a ton right now.” His recommendations for Dylon were, “iRacing, DayZ, Hell Let Loose” but a notable absentee from the list was the popular game, PUBG. An eagle-eyed fan noted that and questioned Dale Jr.

“You literally got sponsored by PUBG and that ain’t on the recommended list lmao?” he asked Dale Jr. Junior answered, “I played a ton of PUBG mobile, but didn’t get into it on the PC because the lack of true wide screen compatibility that eventually got corrected”

As Junior expressed to Dylon, he would’ve loved to get more involved in the video game streaming scene. He just has too much on his plate at the moment.

Dale Jr. expressed how great it would’ve been if he had the time to get more involved in streaming. He also mentioned iRacing to be one of his favorite games to play—there’s a reason behind it.

JR Motorsports, Junior’s team, is among the most successful teams in iRacing. In the iRacing Series, his project had been led, successfully, by Michael Conti. Sadly, however, he recently decided to retire.

The brilliant e-sportsman had been with the team for a number of years. However, earlier this month he put in his papers. Conti’s statement read: “Competing in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series over the last 11 seasons has been nothing short of an incredible experience.”

“So, with aspirations of pivoting my focus toward opportunities outside of full-time competition at the conclusion of the 2023 eNCCiS season, I will walk away from the series, head held high, with nothing but peace, happiness, gratitude, and excitement for what’s to come in the future.”
