Navigating the unexpected turn with Hendrick Motorsports in Brad Keselowski’s Racing Journey

Back in 2008, Brad Keselowski encountered a challenging situation when he came close to sealing a deal with Hendrick Motorsports to drive their No. 5 Kellogg’s/Carquest Chevrolet. However, things took a sudden turn when Keselowski received a call announcing the cancellation of the Hendrick Motorsports deal. Initially shocked and needing time to process the unexpected change, Keselowski later admitted that things ultimately fell into place for him.

When the reputed publication asked him how could HMS do that despite having a contract in place. Keselowski told The Athletic, “Contracts are paper. I don’t care who you are — contracts can always be beaten. And what was I going to do, take somebody to court? I would never have a job in this sport again.”
