Mergers are often complicated processes where businesses combine for a broader benefit. In the world of NASCAR, there are a few drivers that do much more than race on weekends, and one such man is Brad Keselowski. The #6 RFK driver is also the co-owner of the team he races for, and he has much more in his arsenal.
Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing, one of America’s leaders in additive manufacturing, is a project of the NASCAR champion, and recently there has been a huge development on that side. Recently, Brad decided to merge Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing with ADDMAN Group to be able to achieve their vision of being the North American leader in advanced manufacturing, providing creative technology and engineering solutions. However, it’s never easy to let go of complete control of a business, and Brad Keselowski made a recent statement about the merger.

Brad Keselowski has recently made a significant move by merging his company, Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM), with the ADDMAN Group. This merger positions the combined entity as the largest metal additive manufacturer in North America, achieving the vision that the No. 6 RFK driver has been working towards. Keselowski will continue to be involved as a commercial advisor, ensuring the company’s foundational principles remain intact.
When this news broke out, everyone was curious as to why he made such a move, and Bob Pockrass was one of them. So when Keselowski was interviewed by the FOX Sports reporter, he responded, “Yeah, you know, it’s a big move for me. It’s one I’m really proud of. I’m still part of the company as a board member and the largest shareholder, so I still have some significant involvement. But, you know, it does clearly allow some different freedom for me.”
Today, Brad Keselowski is 40 years old and now is the time he is considering making more time for himself and his family. He has been in the NASCAR scene for 2 decades now, and one day he will have to let go of the steering wheel. To continue to have financial stability, he started KAM in 2018. Having two full-time responsibilities is a heavy task to take on, and after running the business for 6 years, Keselowski decided to share the responsibility with ADDMAN Group.

Keselowski spoke about how he has been lucky to have all the good people around him who allow him to balance his personal and work lives. Still having a major stake in the company works out for him, as that way he can expand his business while continuing to race. With him having a contract to drive for RFK Racing till 2026, it only makes sense that he freed himself from the responsibilities of running the manufacturing company.
The Michigan native thought over the pros and cons of the merger and ultimately decided that it was for “just a little more freedom.” Keselowski speaks of the employees and customers that he has been “fortunate” to work with, before stating, “I was one bus crash away from a bunch of people losing their jobs and a bunch of programs going under, so it’s nice to be able to remember that.” With this, he explains that his decision was more to do justice to his employees and customers. Keselowski is a forward-thinking driver, and it was not only his business that he put a lot of thought into this weekend.

During Saturday’s practice, the No. 6 Ford showed an impressive performance on long runs, which is crucial for success at Darlington. Later that day, Keselowski qualified 12th, setting him up nicely for the race. If you’re into Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), Brad is a fantastic pick at his $9,800 salary on DraftKings. He has the potential to win the race and offers some place differential upside since he didn’t make the final round of qualifying.
With that said, do you think he will be able to repeat his triumph at Darlington for the second time this season? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
