Several drivers faced issues with their steering wheel this season, and most of the complaints came at Bristol. 23XI racing’s driver, Bubba Wallace reportedly was so exhausted after his race due to the power steering ussies he had to run to help from his team.

According to one source, Wallace complained, You have no assist. The steering wheel is just super stiff. It’s a lot. I told the team I will go until I can’t go anymore. I just hate it. It’s super frustrating.”

Another Twitter user stated, Bubba asked on the radio for someone else to pull down the window net. His arms are too tired to reach up to do it.

Fans sympathize with Bubba Wallace after his hard race at Bristol due to steering issues

Fans agreed that Wallace had it tough running hundreds of miles of the race, without proper steering assists. Some even stated that if they were in the 23XI driver’s position they would have to be lifted out of the car entirely.

Fans stated that what Wallace had pulled off was nothing short of miraculous considering the machinery he was equipped with for Bristol. They also hoped that he would get a better and more functional car for the upcoming race at Talladega.

Wallace was not the only driver to have faced power steering issues at Bristol, there were several others who complained about the aforementioned issue while driving around the iconic track. Multiple Toyota drivers such as Martin Truex Jr, and Ty Gibbs faced the issue. Apart from Toyota drivers of other manufacturers also faced similar woes. Drivers such as Aric Almirola, Ty Dillon, Alex Bowman, and Chase Briscoe also complained throughout the race.
