Kyle Busch’s wife Samantha Busch is a social media influencer and believes in keeping it real with her fans. For topics that are often considered taboo, Samantha is often seen championing them. Like she had previously shared about her infertility journey and how she overcame it. Her discussing such common problems makes her relatable and is probably why she has thousands of followers on her social media.
And being an influencer who is often seen partnering with brands, it’s a preconceived notion that she’s supposed to look or act a certain way. But Samantha Busch doesn’t seem to be of that belief. She also took her fans on with her while she faced massive hair loss. She could have swept it under the rug but rather normalized the issue, making her social media space a forum to be open, share, and discuss such problems. Recently, she dwelled back on the dreadful time and sent a message to stay strong!

Busch started facing the problem more than two years ago in November 2022. What earlier felt like a normal case of hair loss got aggravated as massive chunks of hair started to fall out. It was later diagnosed that Busch suffered from alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss. It can also cause permanent hair loss among adults. Busch underwent many treatments and therapy sessions, including red-light therapy. Eventually, after never losing the will, the shedding stopped and Busch decided to share it all with her fans.
On February 23rd, 2024, she took to Instagram to share the story and her recovery journey. She wrote, “I began openly talking about my sudden onset hair loss and was blown away by how many of you reached out experiencing the same. I appreciate the support, community and suggestions over the past 16 months that I’ve been on this journey. It has been tremendously helpful! I’m also grateful that my hair shed has stopped and that I’ve been able to gain my confidence back by wearing alternative hair (wigs, halos, ponytails, clip-ins etc.). I’m here for those of you experiencing this journey as well because I fully understand how upsetting and overwhelming it can be.”

The 2024 season was one of Kyle Busch‘s worst ones. He remained winless in 2024, breaking his 19-season race-winning streak, and got a P20 season finish, his worst since 2005, Busch’s debut full season in the Cup Series. But what’s done is done and Samantha Busch decided to find some cheerful moments from the season in her latest carousel post. Where she wrote, “People always ask how we handle being on the road most of the year between Kyle and Brexton’s races. The truth is, every track, every town, and every season brings its own magic and memories. From long days at Milbridge to moments that remind us why we love this life, it’s all about being together. He’s foraying into the midget car racing realm where he’s never stepped before.
Kyle Busch recently announced of running in the Chili Bowl 2025. On this note, he recently said, “The Cup Series season may be over, but the Racing season is still in full swing with the biggest events on dirt taking place over the next couple of months.
