“The South’s biggest Party” is how most of the NASCAR loyalists would like to describe the weekend and the party scenes ahead of the main event at Talladega. The Boulevard turns it up a notch for the race fans to get loose and savor the electrifying atmosphere. This is also perhaps the best time to interact with the fans, who have some interesting stories about their fun times in Talladega.

Lucky Dog on Track, in association with Fan Controlled Sports, took time to interact with the fans ahead of their extended Series debut. What followed next was a flurry of unfiltered opinions and some interesting discoveries about unusual stories.

The team from Lucky Dog on Track shared exclusive footage of a fan who revealed that he once kissed Danica Patrick during a Talladega weekend. He said, “I did kiss Danica Patrick one time. Google it Morgan Hendrick Danica Patrick Talladega and it will pop up and you will see me in the Uncle Sam hat kissing Danica Patrick.”

Morgan was awarded “The Best Campsite Trophy” by Patrick back in 2013. And while it may sound false at first, he did have the source to prove it. However, admitting his shenanigans after all these years, he was worried that he might face some consequences. “I love you wife, but please don’t divorce me”, he conveyed to his better half.

The team also crossed paths with a fierce Kyle Busch hater. The fan was dressed in a typical Talladega Boulevard theme with a vest that had a message stating, “F**k Kyle Busch.” Upon being asked the reason behind his sour feelings towards the RCR star, the fan replied, “The thing is Kyle Busch is a b*tch. He’s a bada** driver but he’s a b*tch. He is just one of those guys that you love to hate.”

Soon, this interaction made its way to social media platforms. And fans weren’t thrilled to see the hatred against the RCR star.

This wasn’t just a single fan’s opinion, but Busch, for some reason, has never been in the good books of the larger community. Despite Denny Hamlin taking on the role of NASCAR’s villain ever since Rowdy’s move to RCR, it still seems like a good chunk of fandom doesn’t appreciate his contribution to the sport.

Comparing Busch’s aggressive racing style to Dale Earnhardt, a fan stated, “My favorite thing about modern nascar fans is how they all beg for aggressive driving like Dale Earnhardt and then as someone drives even a little bit aggressively they hate them”.

Stating a potential reason why everyone hates him, a fan highlighted, “Hated…I’d say when Kyle Busch was on his big winning streaks in like 2006 to 2011 he was more hated than Denny or Danica ever have been. And there are still some serious boos when KB does squeak out a win these days”.

A Kyle Busch loyalist in the defense of his favorite driver chimed in by claiming, “Only an idiot would hate Kyle Busch more than Denny Hamlin or Danica Patrick”.

One thing we can all agree on is that NASCAR is a symphony of chaos and speed that often leaves the fandom divided. However, this is perhaps why the sport is so unique, allowing the drivers to script their own stories and narratives with their performances every week.
