A recent video shared by FloRacing shows the HMS ace taking on the hot-headed Justin Grant at the crown jewel event of midget racing: the Chili Bowl. In the video, Justin Grant opened the conversation by recalling, “I first met Kyle Larson when I was 13-ish.”

Larson then added context to their shared past, mentioning, “We both grew up in Northern California.”

Grant elaborated on their competitive dynamic, explaining, “I was kinda like the best kid at Chico and he was the best kid at Red Bull often. When he ended up at the same racetrack, it was always, kind of the thing, who was better and who was gonna come up on top. His career has certainly taken off. I feel like we are still pretty competitive when it comes back to it.”
