Frankie Muniz, known primarily for his successful acting career, embarked on a challenging journey in the world of stock car racing earlier this year. At 37 years old, Muniz is determined to make a name for himself on the race tracks, and he is currently competing in his first full-time ARCA Menards Series season.
Muniz’s passion for racing has driven him to take on this new adventure, not as a back-of-the-field participant, but with the aim of contending for this year’s ARCA Menards Series championship. Despite being fairly new to the world of professional stock car racing, Muniz has already shown promising results as he managed to secure five top-10 finishes in seven race starts this season.

Frankie Muniz expresses confidence as he states the advantage going into Ohio Race
Currently sitting in second place in the championship standings, Muniz has proved his racing prowess. However, his next challenge awaits him at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course—his first road course race in the ARCA Menards Series. While this presents a new set of difficulties, Muniz sees it as an opportunity to showcase his skills.
When asked about his thoughts and reservations going into the road course in Ohio, Muniz said, “Yeah, in the ARCA car, but that’s all my experience is in the past, all road course stuff.
“So yeah, no, I’m looking forward to it, you know? I’m hoping that I have, I hate to say, a little bit of an advantage, but that is what I did in the past. Yeah, all the oval races are brand new to me, you know, like short tracks, that’s all a new feeling.”
Muniz’s previous experience on road courses, gained from his time in the Formula BMW Championship and the Champ Car Atlantic series, gives him confidence heading into the Mid-Ohio race.
