This weekend is the 2023 Daytona 500, which is a truly iconic race on the Cup Series calendar. It also marks the official start of the NASCAR Cup Series season and all the drivers will be raring to go. Among them is 23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick, who is in his first year with the organization. He has already competed in one race for the team—the Clash at the Coliseum—wherein he finished 6th. However, at Daytona, he confessed that he wasn’t at his best at the Clash.

Later on, the #45 driver got to know another side of his team owner, Michael Jordan. During a press brief, Reddick told Frontstretch’s Dalton Hopkins, “It’s funny, cause I wasn’t feeling my best out in the Clash. Somehow he knew. And I hadn’t told any people, but he knew.

“He’s in the loop; wanted to make sure I was all good. So it’s great to know that he cares. I know he cares about the team, but certainly, he’s in the loop, and pays attention to what’s going on”

What to expect from Tyler Reddick in the 2023 Cup season?

Since its inception, the 23XI Racing team has been improving in leaps and bounds. They started off with a solid driver in the form of Bubba Wallace. Then in 2022, the experienced head of Kurt Busch joined the fray, and this year it is Tyler Reddick partnering with Wallace. Without a doubt, both of them are hugely talented and they could potentially elevate 23XI Racing to new heights

Co-owners Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan are really invested in this team. Hamlin is obviously monitoring the team’s progress, as he is also a fellow driver. This is why Jordan is also being so hands-on in his approach to managing this organization. It is safe to say that the outfit is in pretty good hands and the only direction they can go is up.
