Ever wondered how someone goes into Walmart to buy just one thing and ends up purchasing twenty other items that they didn’t even need in the first place? It’s called impulse buying. More or less, every individual is prey to this. And so is Kaulig Racing star Daniel Hemric.
Hemric just can’t figure out how he always ends up spending more during the off-season than during the in-season. Needless to say, Hailie Deegan‘s boyfriend, Chase Cabre, concurred. And this comes in the backdrop of Deegan’s latest demand, which is perhaps making Cabre feel like his cost of living has just upped several notches!

Hailie Deegan’s home in the southeast of Los Angeles is a 31-acre spread of rolling hills, where her father, the motocross legend Brian Deegan, carved several tracks and trails for off-road trucks and motorcycles for his daughter to drive. Needless to say, Hailie Deegan is seen in some sort of racing vehicle almost every single day.
Now that Hailie Deegan is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, the role of putting up with his fiancee’s demands seems a bit harsh for the 26-year-old motorsport athlete.
It’s not even been a week into the offseason, and Hailie Deegan has felt the sudden need to revamp the walkway in her backyard. She has already started to get it all dug up and refurbished. A helpless Cabre just stood there and clicked a photo moments before tweeting it, saying, “Not even a full week into off-season… Hailie decided we needed a new walkway and pulled up the old one already. 🙃 I feel your pain @DanielHemric”

The good news is that Hailie Deegan doesn’t need to travel anywhere to practice racing. She can just take a stroll in her backyard and start driving. Confused? Well, for Hailie Deegan, it is possible. Let’s go back a year to see how that was made possible.

Hailie Deegan built a full-fledged Can-Am track in her backyard last year. In the introduction to her YouTube video, Deegan explained, “When we bought this property, our intention was to make it into a whole facility. Today is the day it all starts.”
Deegan’s uncle, Sonny, arranged all the pieces of machinery needed for the big construction and even got his own hands dirty doing the fieldwork. The team pulled down trees and cleared the entire grasswork to set up Deegan’s cherished facility.

The track now features an on-off, three consecutive bowls, a gap jump with an over-under, a tabletop, and as many twists and turns as they could have fit inside the area. Now that’s some wild investment for a 22-year-old, don’t you think?
