The conversation around RCR’s driver Kyle Busch started when the two hosts were trying to figure out which drivers will make it to the Championship 4 race. When they got to Kyle, Hamlin seemed to be not able to understand how Kyle’s season has gone so far.

On the podcast, Hamlin started off the discussion by saying, “Next in line in the regular season, you’ve got Martin Truex, definitely could (make it to the finals), he’s running extremely well.

“Kyle Busch, I don’t understand Kyle Busch,” said Denny Hamlin. “I didn’t think he ran that well yesterday, and I look up and he finished fifth…uh…again most of the guys that finished upfront was part of that stay out strategy, so you know, I am not sure about Kyle, all I am gonna say, I am probably gonna pass on the final 4 there.”

Turning his attention to the current standings, Hamlin points out, “Kyle’s actually got the second most playoff points.”

“Because he got the wins, three wins, right?” said Jared.

Hamlin denies commenting on Kyle Busch as he makes his predictions for the final 4.

“Only two stage victories (for Kyle), I am still gonna pass, I am gonna pass there,” said Hamlin. “I’ll say, the tracks that we have, and that is such a big factor in who does what…um…but I am gonna say that the final 4 is going to be the #24 [William Byron], #19 [Martin Truex Jr], there’s #11 [Denny Hamlin], #5 [Kyle Larson], and #1 [Ross Chastain]. I am just…who am I kicking out? It’s really close.”

Hamlin finally reveals the 4 drivers that he thinks will make it to the decider. He names William Byron, Martin Truex Jr, Kyle Larson, and himself.
