This weekend, it all comes down to the final NASCAR Cup Series race of the year. Ross Chastain, Christopher Bell, Joey Logano, and Chase Elliott will face off in the season finale at Phoenix. Two drivers are hunting for their maiden Cup title, and the other two are searching for their second crown. In the buildup to the occasion, the four drivers took part in a fun questionnaire. They were asked which of them would be the most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse.

Chastain immediately said, “Not Joey, he’d be the first to go. He’d be like people in the horror movies. Instead of getting in his truck and driving away, he’d run behind a barn and hide. Christopher, yeah I don’t see him making it very far either. I’d put Chase ahead of me though. I don’t think they’d find him, he’d be off in Georgia somewhere and I don’t think they’d find him. I didn’t set the bar very high, so I think I might be okay.”

How did the other drivers react to Ross Chastain and his answers?
When Logano’s turn came, he was a little pessimistic in his answer. According to him, they would all be ‘screwed’ and none of them would make it. Meanwhile, Bell paid Ross Chastain a compliment and took a cheeky dig at him, all in one breath. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver admitted that Chastain would survive the longest because he was ‘cuckoo’.

Finally, Chase Elliott took a very neutral approach, saying that he did not know. However, the Hendrick Motorsports driver did say that he would like to think that he could last a long time in one. On a more serious note, all four of them know that this race weekend at Phoenix will be no holds barred. So they all have to bring their A-game to the table. On that note, who do you think will be the 2022 NASCAR Cup champion?
