However, when a car racing enthusiast posted a picture from 1977 and asked Martin if he could recall anything, little did he know that the incoming reply would cause a barrage of comments on X, triggering a roll of laughter from all sides.

The fan posted an image wherein the legendary racer could be seen posing alongside a beautiful girl, next to a racecar. He asked Martin, “Saw this oldie of you posted, and wondered if you have any memory/backstory on it…?”

Shortly after the tweet was posted, the legendary racer decided he wanted to reply to it but perhaps, a normal reply was too bland for Martin’s liking. The icon indulged in some good old witty humor and joked, “It’s 1977. I remember the car and setup but I don’t remember the girl,” coupled with a laughter emoji.
