Heading to this race week, Logano was most probably eyeing a decisive result as his early performance highlighted his mindset. But bad luck found the driver shortly after the restart despite winning stage 1. Following a timely pitstop, Logano found himself in the middle of the traffic when things took a sudden U-turn as he spun out of control in lap 36, coming into turn 1.

The Ford suffered front-end damages along with blown-up tires and did not fire up making the driver furious. As the safety officials rushed to the #22 car, Logano boiling over with rage vented out his frustration, spewing nonsense and literally giving them an earful.

NASCAR reporter Jeff Gluck tweeted a short clip of the driver’s in-car verbal assault. In the clip we see the driver, shaming the on-track team, saying, “M****erf***ers, get that f***ing truck here, get the truck, get the f***ing thing, get this thing up, come here, haul me in, pick it up,” seeking attention to get back in the race.

Though the driver had enough reasons to be furious, it certainly wasn’t a class act. However, the Team Penske driver deemed the worker’s inefficiency to take him further away from a return to the race, essentially ending his and his fans’ hopes.

While some deemed the driver’s act, “Classless” other fans understood his emotion, saying,

“Definitely understand.”
