After clinching victory in the Truck Series, Carson was ecstatic, but his energy waned as he confessed, “I’m fu*king tired.” This candid post-race clip caught the attention of DBC co-host Brett Griffin, who immediately saw the comedic potential in creating a GIF from the video. But beneath the amusing surface, Carson’s words carried a hidden weight. Addressing the incident, Carson explained that the slip of the tongue was unintentional. Feeling physically and emotionally drained, he stated that he was “about to throw up” after the race, which might have contributed to the accidental F-bomb.

When asked whether he got fussed about the incident, Carson replied, “I didn’t know. Like nobody said anything. Nobody told me I don’t think you should. I was done with the media you’re going to now. I was done with the Media Center, and they’re like, well, originally, they thought I said I was getting drunk like the originally my sponsor thought that, and they’re like, you said that. And I’m like, no, no, no, I didn’t. I said I don’t want to watch people get drunk.”

“I said in Texas, I got asked what I was going to do to celebrate, and I said I can’t really celebrate. I’m just going to watch a bunch of people get drunk, and I’m going to have a good time. So I was like, I was just what I say every win now like I just watch people and they’re like, and then they all was the funniest thing. I said the F-bomb. But they were worried about that. They’re like, you said that. No, no, I didn’t. So we watched it like 6 times during the deal, and I’m like, man, I really did say that. And then I’m like, oh, I I did say that too.”

Despite his candid explanation, Carson admitted that even he was surprised by the F-bomb incident when he reviewed the video. Nevertheless, co-host TJ Majors brushed off any controversy, noting that the late hour of the race meant most kids would have been asleep. He defended Carson’s candid moment, deeming it “f**king funny.”
