In a recent Instagram post, the excitement in Earnhardt’s words was evident as he spoke about the project. “Hey everybody, just hanging out at home and wanted to share something I’ve been working on…Becoming Earnhardt. The first season’s about the 1979 NASCAR year.” With this announcement, the anticipation has grown exponentially among Earnhardt supporters.
Dale Jr. has been working hard on this project for months. The first season will consist of eight episodes each about an hour to an hour-and-a-half long. After listening to the first episode, Dale Jr. said, “I cannot express how excited I am to get that out. So y’all can hear it. I hope you’re gonna enjoy it but it comes out next Wednesday, something I’ve been working on in the background. When I’m very proud of. I’ve got a great day.”
