Ever since Kevin Harvick retired from NASCAR racing, he’s focused his attention and energy towards his passion projects. He’s brought KHI back to life at the Late Model and joined Dale Earnhardt Jr. in an ambitious project to uplift grassroots racing with the ownership of the CARS Tour. At the same time, he’s also serving as a mentor for his son Keelan Harvick, who is expected to grow and mature into a successful NASCAR driver.
Harvick has made a calculated choice that has often fared well for him in the longer run. Look at KHI management; he has skin in the game, which is not just restricted to the race track but beyond it. Thanks to his smart investments and off-court planning, the former SHR driver is worth $100 million. If we are to go by the latest developments, he is expected to be $9.8 million richer as he cashes out on a long-term investment he made in 2014.
Kevin Harvick recently made a conscious change in his life after racing when he sold his 4.4-acre Charlotte estate for $9.8 million. The property is located near Charlotte’s South Park Area, which Harvick and his wife DeLana bought in 2014. Back then, the couple had to shell out $3.34 million, and while the property was listed at $12 million for sale, they agreed to settle on just shy of the $10 million mark.

The property has a modern pool house, a private gym, a golf simulator, and an arcade; it was more of a customized base centered on privacy and performance than a spectacle. This was more than just a real estate transaction; Harvick was making a deliberate move. Following his decision to leave full-time racing, he is doing what many elite NASCAR veterans do: adjusting, making investments, and maintaining his competitiveness off the track.

Well, this decision does make sense as Kevin Harvick and his wife made a purchase of a home in Lake Norman in North Carolina in 2023. This particular house was featured in the movie Talladega Nights and it does come with all the amenities. The 12,042 square-foot residence features six bedrooms, and going by the report, Harvick paid $6.75 million for the ownership of this mansion.
The $9.8 million sale of his Charlotte estate indicates a change rather than merely cashing out. Harvick stays strategic whether he is moving, making investments, or reallocating his assets. Though the environment has changed, his mentality hasn’t: he’s still making successful movements; they’re just quieter now. It’s not just Harvick; his former boss Tony Stewart has also been busy trying to sell one of his lavish property.

Tony Stewart: Racing on His Terms
Given that his Hidden Hollow Ranch‘s $30 million listing garnered media attention, it was merely the beginning of Stewart’s transformation after racing. He has made a significant commitment to grassroots racing since leaving full-time NASCAR competition in 2016, co-owning Eldora Speedway and establishing the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) in 2020. Stewart’s long-standing dedication to genuine, unpretentious competition is evident in both actions.
After bidding farewell to NASCAR racing, Smoke has got his priorities straight. He is now focused on NHRA Racing with TSR Nitro and also keeping himself busy as a father. While his NASCAR exit is expected to fill up his pockets, Stewart is looking to cash in on his past investments and pour into his latest adventures and passion project.

The Indian Ranch, which he owns, is dubbed as the playground for adults, and it’s a dream property for someone invested in wildlife and nature. The six-bedroom and 11-bath mansion was initially listed at $30 million, but with little to no interest from potential buyers, they have now opted to go with a discounted rate. Anyone interested in buying the sprawling 400-acre Hidden Hollow Ranch in Indiana can now get it for $22.5 million.
