NASCAR has officially decided its 16-car line-up for the Cup Series, Xfinity and Truck Series. However, 16 cars cannot run on their own, so there will be 24 other cars to fill up the grid. However, it does beg the question on how to differentiate between playoff drivers and the rest of the chasing pack.
To make the process easier for the fans, NASCAR has chosen to provide a unique marking for the Playoff drivers in each class. It is worth noting that each category will get their own markings to identify them better.

How to identify the NASCAR Playoff drivers in either class?
For the Cup Series drivers, the Playoff candidates are set to sport windshield banners with the word ‘PLAYOFFS’. In addition to that, the 16 cars will also bear a silver rear spoiler. On either side of the word ‘PLAYOFFS‘ will be the drivers’ respective manufacturer.
On the Xfinity drivers’ end, they will sport a red rear spoiler and lower nose. In addition to that, the Xfinity cars will bear a red windshield banner displaying the drivers’ last names. Meanwhile, the non-playoff drivers will bear a black windshield banner with the drivers’ last names.
Finally, the Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series Playoff drivers will sport blue spoilers, noses and windshield banners. This will help the fans and even the stewards in identifying the drivers better. This will be a boon, because it will avoid any confusion about how the results could be decided.

So, for the next 10 races, this will be the norm in all three NASCAR classes. In this way, the sport can steadily whittle down the pack until a winner is decided. So, the big question is, who will emerge as the champion in each of the three series?
Can Kevin Harvick maintain his winning streak and run away with the title? Or will someone like Denny Hamlin step up to the plate and stop him?
