Tyler Reddick has been quite promising since his NASCAR Cup Series debut with Richard Childress Racing in 2019. The two-time Xfinity Series champ has come a long way since then, winning three Cup Series races so far. This season, the 27-year-old has joined 23XI Racing as a replacement for Kurt Busch, resulting in his early exit from RCR. While discussing the importance of simulators, Tyler Reddick recently made a huge Kyle Larson admission that left Dale Earnhardt Jr. stunned.

Reddick recently joined co-hosts Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jared Allen on The Dale Jr. Download podcast. The observation from Dale Eanhardt Jr. prompted Reddick to reveal how he learned to ride the wall. Tyler Reddick said, “Yeah I mean, for me, how I learned to run the wall was on the simulator with Kyle.” A shocked Dale Jr. responded, “No sh*t!” Meanwhile, the 23XI Racing driver shared that he teamed up with Kyle Larson on the simulator during their time with Chip Ganassi Racing. In addition, Dale Jr. inquired, “For real?”

Further, Reddick reckoned, “He knew how to run the wall pretty good and I go on the simulator and trying to mimic it and replicate it. It gave me a starting point.” Thus, the #45 Toyota driver credited Kyle Larson for helping him run the wall. He shared that a few other young drivers including Noah Gragson also benefitted from their notes.

Reddick added, “So, I feel like it’s kinda funny how all this kinda stemmed from Kyle, kinda mimicking what Kyle does and kinda turning it, starting there and building that into how we kinda approach it.”
