While the Cup Series action has reached an otherworldly high as we near the gates of the coveted Indianapolis Motor Speedway for an intense road race, Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan’s NASCAR driver spoke their minds just hours before the action unfolds in one of the most iconic tracks in all of motorsports.

Despite changing lanes with his former team that gave him a push and acing the 2.5-mile road course, the driver still believes in himself as he hopes to repeat last year’s success, saying, “You know my confidence level, it’s in a great place.”

With the Toyotas at an all-time high and being super competitive and fierce, the driver has a lot more to consider this time around, even having to closely watch out for his boss, veteran Hamlin, considering his consistent streak this season.

Denny Hamlin’s 23XI Racing driver eyes a second win at Indy despite the star-studded international lineup

Tyler Reddick, 23XI Racing‘s road racing specialist, is all geared up for an intense battle at the 2.5-mile Indianapolis road course. While the driver had success last year with his former team, Richard Childress Racing, this time around things won’t be that easy as he will have to keep an eye on outside talents like Grant Park 220 winner Shane Van Gisbergen and his new teammate Kamui Kobayashi, who will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut this Sunday.

Even though the #45 driver is comfortable at the 13th spot in the rankings, riding the hype of his COTA success, Reddick is certain to have his hands full for this one, as he even needs to without his consistent and outspoken boss, Denny Hamlin, who is coming off a controversial win at Pocono and two back-to-back top 5 finishes.

Speaking to SiriusXM NASCAR, Reddick did not hesitate to reveal his confident self, saying, “You can just imagine my confidence level for it; it’s in a great place you know we, we’ve just been working and working just you know chasing that little crumbs at this point with you know the setup, with myself just continuing to try and do a better job inside the race car.”

The 27-year-old, who got his first Cup Series career win at the grandest stage of them all, even briefed about the work the team has put in. He said, “We feel like really been working on for our you know our setup, our package for Indy seems really really solid you know I’m excited to see how it does for Bubba(Wallace) and Kamui(Kobayashi) and more likely our boss(Denny Hamlin) as well. so we’ll just give everything we can while we’re in there and just excited to see what we have on the racetrack.”
