Kyle Busch is ready to hit the road again for his second Craftsman Truck Series race of the year. He’ll be driving the #51 Zariz Silverado at the Circuit of the Americas, where he has an exceptional chance to get to his 100th Truck Series victory as the owner of Kyle Busch Motorsports.

Busch’s recent win in Las Vegas was the team’s 99th triumph in the Craftsman Truck Series, setting the stage for a momentous accomplishment. Moreover, as he has previously achieved the goal of winning all five of his truck races in a single season, he will be hoping to do it again.

During a Q&A session, Busch expressed his eagerness to get behind the wheel of the Zariz Silverado once again and said that he was confident of winning at the Circuit of the Americas.

“Hopefully we can make it two-for-two on the year with a win at COTA Saturday. The goal every year in trucks is to go five-for-five with my five truck races—we’ve been able to accomplish that before and I don’t see any reason why we can’t do it again, just have to click them off one at a time,” Busch said as per the official KBM website.

He further added, “We just need to go out there Saturday and execute our race, control what we can control and try to be the first one to the finish line this time around.”

Kyle Busch seeks redemption at COTA after heartbreaking finish last year

Last year at COTA, Busch led the race for 31 laps and was on track for a win until late-race cautions caused the field to bunch up. He was in the lead during the first lap of the second overtime when two other drivers collided with him, forcing him off course and resulting in a third-place finish. This year, Busch is determined to take back the win that he believes was rightfully his.

Arguably the G.O.A.T. of Craftsman Truck Series, 47 of his 63 wins have come in a KBM truck, with 18 other drivers earning at least one victory for the organization. Additionally, KBM has claimed two road course wins, one by Busch at Sonoma Raceway and the other by Erik Jones at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
