Richard Petty’s Petty GMS team shared a note from Rick Hendrick congratulating Erik Jones and the team for their win at Darlington. But Hendrick is the owner of Hendrick Motorsports, a fellow Chevrolet team that has been a rival for decades. And hence this congratulatory note was nothing less than heart-warming.
Hendrick Motorsports has been a part of the NASCAR Cup Series since the 1980s. And over the years, it has successfully established its reputation as a professional and classy Cup Series organization. Of course, a huge part of the credit goes to the owner, Rick Hendrick, who is famously called ‘Mr. H’.
Looking closely at the tweet shared by Petty GMS, it is clear that the note was accompanied by flowers. With the words ‘Midwood Flower Shop Charlotte,’ the note also had a typed message from Rick Hendrick. It read, “Congratulations on your win in Darlington and thanks for the push in Talladega!” Rick Hendrick”
The tweet was captioned “Always a class from Mr. H, very cool.” And NASCAR fans also reacted to Hendrick’s kind gesture in the comment section. Some Twitter users called this a class act, however, a few criticized Mr. H. Whereas a few others asked if he has sent one to other drivers too.
Love this!!! Love Rick. Such a great man!

Hope he sent one to Denny Hamlin too.

That's nice and all, would've been nice had he send it after the Darlington win, not wait a month until y'all helped him out.

Some of the most competitive people in the sport exchanging pleasantries and honoring each others victories is very refreshing. Grown ups showing the kids how to act! I'm sure Maury and the King appreciated the gesture.

Which Rick Hendrick driver has qualified for the Round of 8?
Currently, Chase Elliott has secured a position in the next round of the playoffs. Elliott registered a victory at the YellaWood 500 in Talladega and clinched an automatic advancement to the next playoff round. And this makes him the first Hendrick driver to enter the Round of 12.
However, the race was not that happening for Elliott’s teammate, Alex Bowman. After his wreck at the Texas Motor Speedway earlier in September, the driver started experiencing concussion-like symptoms. owing to this, he could not race in the YelloWood 500 race last weekend.
