“Holy W” – NASCAR World Reacts to Tony Stewart Announcement

Versatility is a much sought-after trait in NASCAR, but only a very few drivers actually conquer that ability. Tony Stewart sits atop that list, with miles of a gap between him and second place. This fresh development is a testament to that versatility.

Stewart has dipped his hands in a lot of ventures over his time in racing. But most times than not, he has come out with gold—for him the saying should be: Jack of All and King of All!

Apart from his legendary status as a racing driver, winning 3 Cup Series titles, he has also commandeered a brilliant team in Stewart-Haas Racing. Stewart’s SRX Series is also one of the most loved series among drivers and fans.

Smoke also owns the Eldora Speedway—a dirt track that is now renowned for hosting high-paying Sprint Car races. In December last year, Stewart and Eldora made the announcement for the Eldora Million 2023.

Stewart said as he made the announcement, “Back in 2003, Eldora hosted a non-wing race that paid $200,000 to winner Jac Haudenschild, but this will be the first time a sprint car driver will race for a winner’s check worth $1 million.”

“This will showcase the best of the best, and you’re going to want to see how this race unfolds where in the final laps, with the guys still in the hunt running close together, what they will do to win a million dollars.”
