The suspense over Frankie Muniz’s future in racing has gripped the NASCAR community. Muniz entered his new profession as a fan favorite, thanks to his incredible performances as the main character of the popular TV show, ‘Malcolm in the Middle.’ An actor switching careers to fulfill his dream of becoming a NASCAR driver is a storyline NASCAR fans don’t get to see often. Now, wanting to share his journey with the fans, Frankie Muniz has dropped another announcement on Twitter.

Yesterday, he revealed that he will start streaming his iRacing races and simulations to prepare him for his upcoming ventures. Asking for suggestions, the 38-year-old wants to build an outlet for his racing exploits. With the younger generation of drivers showing a positive approach toward streaming, this initiative could also help Frankie Muniz gather a digital crowd.

2023 was a rewarding year for Muniz. Racing in the ARCA Menards Series was quite the launchpad for his aspirations. The former Rette Jones Racing driver finished fourth in the final standings for 2023, which drew many eyes towards him. Team owners, fellow drivers, and fans alike took notice of Muniz’s talents in a race car and how he hadn’t lost his touch since racing in the Indy NXT series.

Now, Frankie Muniz wants to add some flavor to his racing career. Treading the same path as Carson Hocevar, who regularly streams his iRacing experiences on Twitch’s streaming platform, Muniz tweeted, About to start some live streaming of my racing/prep work on @iRacing. Gonna be hilarious. What platform do I stream on? @Twitch? @KickStreaming? @Steam? Somewhere else?

While Twitch is the go-to platform for gamers, streaming on YouTube could be more beneficial for anyone. Being the most used and most popular platform by far, YouTube can help Frankie Muniz with an audience bigger than Twitch or Kick. However, the decision is up to the actor-turned-racer, and he’ll be considering his options closely. With Muniz teasing the fans about a start at the Daytona International Speedway on February 17, this is the perfect time to gain some traction for his upcoming venture.

Two weeks ago, Frankie Muniz dropped a hint about his future in NASCAR. Since the end of Malcolm in the Middle, he has yet to take center stage in a big project and has shifted his attention to racing as a full-time driver. However, that hasn’t eased his search for a team one bit and he has not announced any official news about his next destination in racing.

It could be a return to ARCA, but Frankie Muniz is positive that a NASCAR seat awaits him, as two weeks ago, he posted on Twitter, “See y’all in Daytona Feb 17th. @nascar @fordperformance.”

Be it Cup, Xfinity, or Truck Series teams, it is likely that Frankie Muniz has struck a deal with a Ford-powered team. If not, it makes little sense to tease the fans with a hint of what’s to come at the much-awaited Daytona 500. From what Muniz has shown on the racetrack, he could be a valuable addition to teams looking to bring in more sponsors and financing through its drivers. With a commendable racing profile in just one year of full-time, his popularity could work wonders for such teams.
