Jacob Allen, the son of National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Bobby Allen, is set to ignite the sprint car racing scene. This time with a new endeavor. Taking the helm of the renowned Shark Racing #1A, Allen joins the High Rollers for the upcoming season and has dedicated himself to clinching the season-long championship and the sought-after Midweek Money Series title.
This is sure to add a feather to the cap of his racing journey. At 29, this Pennsylvania native isn’t just revisiting his origins. He’s infusing his home state with the excitement of high-stakes racing. Under Kyle Larson’s High Limit Racing, two significant events at Port Royal Speedway are set to become important for him.
The Bob Weikert Memorial and the Tuscarora 50 are set to be key highlights of the 2024 sprint car racing season. Besides, the premier events will take place over Memorial Day weekend and the first weekend of September. Ahead of these ventures, Allen engages with the fans through a hilarious video.

What made Kyle Larson burst out laughing at Jacob Allen’s ‘announcement’?
Jacob Allen took to his X account, appearing in a funny gesture with shades on and a newspaper in hand. In the rather hilarious video, he can be seen giving out some “serious” information. In a funny gesture, he puts out cereal in a bowl (most of it overflowing) and milk along with it.
He said, “Good morning. Jacob Allen here with some big breaking news. But before I get to my news, I must pour myself a bowl of my favorite cereal. Okay, now with the news. This weekend, we planned on racing at Knox Raceway. With the woo. But with the weather looking crappy, we’ve decided to drive 900 miles home. On Friday, we will not be racing. I will be playing pickup basketball at my local YMCA. Saturday, we will be racing Port Royal Speedway, 15,000 to whim. And on Sunday, Baps Motor Speedway, because we like baps and racing. On Sunday, the merch trailer will be at both races. And that is all I got for news today. Have a great day and peace.”
