A few weeks ago, Denny Hamlin admitted to doing something that most drivers might be doing in the world of motorsports. But it would still come across as pretty disgusting to some. Denny Hamlin peed in his car. And wait, this was not the part that came as a shock. What did was it was not his first time, as Denny said after some pauses, “Sorry, I peed in the seat again”. It’s no wonder that a NASCAR insider was pretty much taken aback by this. He then hinted at a serious accusation about the Joe Gibbs Racing driver on a recent episode of ‘The Dale Jr Download podcast’.
Hamlin emerged victorious in the latest Cup Series race that took place at the Bristol Motor Speedway, which was chaotic, to say the least. Tire wear was at an all-time high, and while several people believed it happened due to the resin on the track, the #11 team’s insider had a completely different theory. A theory that had Dale Earnhardt Jr laughing uncontrollably.
“I have a theory. I think that Denny’s secret now, he said someone peed in the tire compound. I think Denny peed in the tire compound. That’s my theory right now,” he said.

“I think he’s got a little bit of an unfair advantage and I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if Denny went Saturday night back to Bristol while everyone was gone and went all over the racetrack and peed all over. And he’s the only one that knew right, so he knew exactly how to run in the resin or you know, the pee-pee. He knew exactly what to do,” Denny Hamlin’s insider added.
These accusations were met with laughter from everyone at the Studio at the time and it is safe to say that the driver of the #11 will have something to say about it shortly.

Denny Hamlin claims hydration as a reason for his new in-car practice
Denny Hamlin relieved himself inside his race car for the first time in his career at the Atlanta Motor Speedway earlier this season and since then, the practice has been non-stop. He might have been a neat freak earlier, but now that he has felt that bliss of not having to hold it in for hours on an end, he has become quite the fan. And no one’s ever going to judge him for it, given his demanding profession.
“I don’t know, the bladder was bigger I guess, and it shrunk over time. I like it now because it keeps me drinking. Like, I would get so full before and I would have to stop drinking in the car so I wasn’t hydrating myself because I was in such pain and now I just let it go. I’m able to keep hydrating through the entire race, so it’s like, all right, I love it,” he had said as per Sportsnaut.

The driver of the #11 car has booked his place in the playoffs for this year and he can take things a little easier for the rest of the regular season. However, that’s not going to help with his interior guy’s woes any time soon if he keeps on urinating in his car.
